33 on Bond Pop-Up Restaurant: A Celebration of 30 Years of Excellence

This September, The Swiss Hotel School South Africa proudly launches its highly anticipated 33 on Bond Pop-Up Restaurant, a unique dining experience that will run from 17 September to 12 October 2025. The pop-up forms part of the School’s 30th Anniversary celebrations, marking three decades of shaping hospitality leaders in South Africa.

Set within the Campus of The Swiss Hotel School in Ferndale, Randburg, 33 on Bond will showcase the talent, creativity, and passion of the third-year culinary and hospitality students. This initiative forms a cornerstone of the School’s philosophy of learning by doing, where students gain hands-on experience in managing a real-world restaurant environment.

The menu promises a journey of flavours, highlighting authentic Italian favourites alongside bold and colourful Mexican dishes. Guests can look forward to a carefully crafted selection of dishes that reflect both culinary tradition and modern innovation, while service and ambiance will mirror the School’s high standards of hospitality.

As Director Stephen Hickmore notes, “33 on Bond is more than a restaurant – it is a living classroom, where our students bring together everything they have learned and present it to the public. This year, it is especially meaningful as we celebrate 30 years of excellence.”

Bookings are essential, and tables are already filling up quickly. Guests are encouraged to secure their seats online at www.33onbond.co.za.

Whether you are an alumnus, industry partner, or food lover, 33 on Bond offers the perfect opportunity to be part of The Swiss Hotel School’s legacy – and to experience the future of South African hospitality firsthand.
